Core Privacy Promise: Client-Side Processing
Toolshref is architected as a static, client-side application. When you use our tools (such as the JSON Formatter, Java Code Analyzer, or SQL Converter), your data—including proprietary code, API keys, and business logic—is processed strictly within your web browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly.
We do not transmit, store, or view the input data you paste into our tools. Once you close the browser tab, your data is wiped from memory.
1. Information We Collect
A. Personal Information
We do not require you to create an account to use our tools. Therefore, we do not collect personal identification information (such as names, phone numbers, or physical addresses) unless you voluntarily provide it to us, for example, by contacting us via email.
B. Log Files
Toolshref follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this as a part of hosting services’ analytics. The information collected by log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable.
2. Cookies and Web Beacons
Like any other website, Toolshref uses ‘cookies’. These cookies are strictly used for:
- Site Functionality: Remembering user preferences (e.g., Editor Theme, Indentation settings).
- Advertising (Google AdSense): Serving relevant ads and preventing fraud (frequency capping).
Crucial Distinction: Our cookies DO NOT and CANNOT access the data you paste into our tools (e.g., your Java code or JSON). That data resides in your browser’s temporary memory (RAM) and is isolated from our advertising cookies.
3. Advertising Partners Privacy Policies
You may consult this list to find the Privacy Policy for each of the advertising partners of Toolshref.
